I hope the current recognition of student rights eliminates charges of "poaching." That charge strikes me as one coach or school claiming that they own a student and another college or coach stole their possession.
Student athletes aren't owned by anybody except themselves.
Although colleges voted for the current transfer/immediate playing restrictions, students were never allowed to vote on it and it effects them.

I just got home, and found my college basketball and football products are broken. Can I return them for a full refund, or even an exchange for the classic, homestyle versions?

Will this mean that the NCAA Champion will now be crowned officially as "The Best Team Money Can Buy?"

College sports continue to move in the direction of semi-pro leagues, making it much less enjoyable for people like me to follow. For every positive portal outcome (however one defines that), there have to be three negative ones. And the overwhelming majority of transferring students have to get jobs outside of sports at some point fairly soon after they leave college. Getting back to focusing on that might be good for everyone. The old system where it had to hurt a little to transfer made the students at least think about it. Now it’s easy so why not?

The rule will change for sure but for now what the NCAA is declining to do is challenge the restraining order, which only applies to a small number of individuals.
