Not keen to get into a back and forth on this subject at Holiday time - my opinion is that HC intentionally leaves many programs to fend for themselves and don't give the coaches and players a chance to succeed. That's not what HC is all about and when they solicit our $ in Feb on Athletics Giving Day they will say we 'strive for success' - sorry, but they're not being honest. Fair enough. Merry Christmas.

I was looking at the M&W lacrosse schedules and was reminded that American University has women's but not men's lacrosse. In fact they have eight women's sports but only six men's sports. The three most recent PL schools seem to have a different approach than the oldest seven league members who sponsor a large number of sports all beginning with football in the fall.
Not necessarily a problem but interesting.

So regardless of the "Turnpike Trophy," if all things remain the same, Holy Cross can be sure we won't lose to BU in football or baseball ever again. Good.
