Turns out his son Connor has been dating Caitlyn Clark for some time. Glad he’s not worried about dating someone better than him at hoops. But she does whine an awful lot about calls during games and gets a T from time to time so seems like a good fit.

Clark acknowledged she wasn't seriously hurt immediately after the game. She can really play and has a swagger to her like the great ones. On the women's side, think about Diana Taurasi. I looked around for the video of her making a three in the national championship game when she was at UConn and screaming an obscenity but didn't find it although I found an article about here yelling the same one in the WNBA.
But yeah, from the angle of the video posted on Twitter, it sure looked like a dive.

She’s a confirmed NBA-level flopper for sure although this non super slow motion view shows the initial collision was essentially unavoidable (given the sprinting fan on the court staring at her cell phone and Clark’s view )

Definitely not a good look for OSU but does seem like Clark milked it for all it was worth. I’ve never been on the losing end (or the winning one) of a court-storming game but I have to think I’d have my head on a swivel as I was trying to get to the tunnel. Looked like Clark saw her at the last second and threw out her arms to protect herself.

Also, “storming” would be a bit strong but I was on the court after the game at Stabler if that counts. I also “stormed” the Hart floor back in the day.

I thought it was fascinating the way the running Ohio State fan kept her eyes glued to her upheld cellphone as she dashed down the court. I can't imagine her NOT being bumped or flattened given the crowd on the floor. And she never dropped her phone!
