Bob Hyland played freshman basketball at BC in ‘63-‘64. HC played them twice, splitting the pair. Bob set one heck of a screen.

Stepinac enrollment was about 800-900 when I was in HS. Not sure if enrollment has increased since then or if they're just being more proactive about bringing in athletes. IIRC, it was the HS Class of 2007 where you saw a big jump in star football and basketball players at Step versus years prior. Was like night and day.
From what I know the school is doing well and alumni are very proud of it. My neighborhood is a pretty big feeder into Stepinac.

Indeed, Stepinac alums are very proud of their school. In my time('59-'63) the school population was entirely from Westchester County. Now there are a number of youngsters from the Bronx. The school provides buses. Glad to see Bronxites receive the benefits of a Stepinac education. Friend's daughter teaches there. She loves the place. Alums are very active. Trivia: The school was the first in the nation to go all digital, no textbooks. I assume most posters are extremely proud of their hs and have fond memories.

McDonald's All Star game. Fell asleep early. Old age. Graham Crackers, warm milk and jammies. Just kidding... Read Boogie had 17 points and played well. Hope, he's the real deal. In the little I saw the announcers did not mention the high schools. Too bad. About Holy Cross... Keeping interest in life helps keep one alive, I think.

Great year so far for Regis:
- Basketball team is a total bull in a China shop, beats Fordham Prep, Xavier, Jesuit New Orleans, wins league, city and state titles
- Speech and debate also wins the whole enchilada, state champs
- Declan Cronin dominating out of the pen for the Miami Marlins
- Jost tears it up at White House Correspondents' Dinner
May ours be the noble heart!
