Lafayette is 6-9 and 2-2 in the PL (losing to BU by 16 at home in their last game). They lost to Colgate by 10 at home, and beat both Loyola MD and Army. For several seasons, it seems that Lafayette wins or loses based on their 3 point game. Matt Klinewski, Junior forward, is an exception. He had 34 points in 29 minutes against BU along with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. It was his second 30+ points game in the last 4. They are deep and young (4 of the top 9 are frosh) which may be one reason why they have more turnovers (217) than assists (212).
PROBABLE STARTERS: Klinewski, Matt.......F (Jr 6'8" 234) 18 ppg / 6 rpg / 27 mpg Zalys, Paulius.........F (So 6'7" 202) 8 ppg / 4 rpg / 24 mpg Janacek, Hunter.....G (Fr 6'4" 190) 17 ppg / 2 rpg / 18 mpg Lindner, Nick..........G (Sr 5'11" 190) 14 ppg / 3 rpg / 31 mpg Evans, Auston........G (So 6'6" 186) 4 ppg / 2 rpg / 19 mpg

It's truly amazing what the other PL teams are getting from their freshmen class compared to ours. This is our least productive freshman class since scholarships were re-established.

They appear at this point (less than half way through the PL schedule) to be the least productive...as freshmen. Some seem to be fixating on this. Our frosh are slowly getting more minutes. But, IMHO, the time to evaluate recruits is when they graduate - after 4 years. Why do some seem to want to throw the frosh under the bus before they even play for one season?

Massey makes the Holy Cross men an 11 point favorite (71-60) at home against Lafayette on Wed. (7:05pm). HC is given an 84% chance for the win.

win or lose, we have been playing boring basketball. there is nothing 'plus' about this matchup. they must have been stuck with nothing else to air. hope the telecast doesn't cut down on the attendance (tongue firmly planted in cheek). i'm predicting about 400 in attendance and they will put over 1000 in the box score.
that being said, I seriously need something positive to happen when it comes to our team, let's get back to .500 and play with some confidence during the 2nd half of the season.

The team has, at times, been boring. At other times, their game has looked good. It is seldom all or nothing. You are quite right that we need to get a consistency that has been lacking and to carry it through the rest of the season.

Season, i.e. team, has certainly been a disappointment so far, especially considering how last season ended and the likely step back from even this year's mediocrity that next season's no senior team will take.

How about WRNN-2 (ASN) in New York, NY does that make it onto NJ cable systems?

I can't find it on Optimum/Cablevision. I see it will be on the PLN, so all is well.

Make no mistake this game is a crucial one. Need a win to steady the ship and get prepared to spring another upset at Lehigh this Sunday. Let's get Franny OH on the bus back to Easton early. No last minute "white knuckler" with this one ...... Please.

Another nicely-designed out of bounds play. I like the way we look against the man - no idea why FOH is playing it
