Holy Cross wins, 71-54. Nice floor game by Anthony tonight - 7 assists, 4 steals, just 1 TO ...and he took only three threes, making one

We needed a laugher like that (71-54) with a tough bus trip and opponent on Saturday. Each of our players is better than the 'pards'. Time for FOH to move on to retirement? GO CROSS GO!!!! BEAT THE ENGINEERS!!!!!
Coach Carmody in post-game: created t o, pushed for ez baskets, all around good play inc Husek, bottled up Klinewski, AT deflections unbelieveable with good legs, we know Kempton

Game was broadcast in Chicago, though Chicago Tribune listed it as Holy Cross vs Louisiana Lafayette. Good to see the team play well on one of the few broadcasts in my area.

And last time you suggested that he won the league and ran circles around your pal.

PB can conduct a clinic for shorter players driving to the basket Were all 5 of his baskets on layups? It's amazing the way PB finds or creates opportunities and then has the angles figured out to score.

Would love to know how many he has made left-handed, one of the keys to his success in close.

Did I hear Dick Lutsk say that Marcellus Perkins was redshirting? Anybody have any info on that?
That would actually make some sense since that would make him a RS-Soph next year in a class that only has 2 scholarship players.

I couldn't tell you. While I only sit about 10 feet from Lutsk, there's some guy who keeps yelling "you, you, you . . . on YOU!" and drowns out anything Lutsk says.

With 19 points last night Malachi Alexander moved off his tie with Marty Halsey and passed Brian Reale on the all-time scoring list. In his next game MA can pass Rick Mashburn, Ryan Serravalle, and Justin Burrell and, if he can get 19 points again, tie Kevin Greaney in 32nd place

Does Perkins have to apply for redshirt status this year or can he petition for a fifth year at a later date, think I would rather know if he's going to be a contributor before committing another scholarship year to him. At this point we know nothing about his playing ability as he's been hurt since his senior year in high school.

Dick did mention the ankle strain of JF and he did say that MP was redshirting.

Good win. Have to beat the teams we "should" be better than at home. Tough to objectively identify those opportunities, but over the course of the season, home wins like this set the trend.

It was a very nice win last night. The guys looked purposeful on offense and very committed on defense. It was good to see KC look for offensive opportunities a little more than he has been. If there ever was any doubt about this team's heart and effort (I strongly believe there shouldn't have been), it was certainly dispelled last night. They all were flying around the court all night (literally and figuratively), diving on the floor, extending their bodies to the limit, playing through injuries, etc. AT was most impressive in this regard. Keep up the good work, guys!

Much thanks for that link 13.
Played a round with him and Blaney at an alum event many years ago. At 6'8" he naturally had a big ark swing and hit the pill a mile. Nice to get updated on his current whereabouts.
