I think Northeastern gets an at-large. UConn right in the last four in/out area. I think UConn is solidly in due to the difficult schedule they played. Northeastern I don’t think makes it. Northeastern with a better RPI and beat UConn head-to-head.

Does not the RPI take in strength of schedule ? If so, how could NE be 8 spots ahead of UConn ?

Northeastern beat UConn twice including an 18-3 beatdown - those results could make a difference if the committee is deciding between the two teams

Northeastern now 34th in RPI and UConn 41. Slim to none that UConn gets in and Northeastern's numbers are getting worse

I guess Foley's vote was in the minority on the committee.

CAA league strength really hurt NU - a one bid league this year UConn has a tough regional in Stillwater, Ok., first game vs. Duke

I guess Foley's vote was in the minority on the committee. UConn went 10-17 in quadrant 1 and 2 combined. Northeastern went 12-9 including two wins over UConn. The Big East is a mediocre baseball conference and the CAA is at least on par with it. The Big East finished seventh and the CAA was tenth. The Big West finished 13th and got two teams into the tourney including a host.

Kansas State received an at-large. Nice to say we have wins against two teams in the NCAA Tournament.
