Bronagh has been playing with a broken hand if some folks here didn't know it already.

Thought it might have been a sprain. Saw a pictures either after the UT game & you could see it was pretty black & blue. Pretty impressive play with it the last 2.5 games.

If she can score 19 points against the Big Ten champion with a broken hand she can play for a power conference team next year.

Why would she leave HC? I thought the women were selecting a school not a sports franchise as seemingly do some of the men.

When you graduate from HC , you leave...with a huge amount of thanks and good will. It will be interesting to see if she chooses to use that year to pursue a graduate degree (in psychology?).

Got it. Was not clear she was graduating this year. Grad school sounds great. It's her decision to make. Didn't HC recently have a star female player who graduated & went to a Big Ten Grad school for whom she successfully played bbl? Forgot her name. Did she get her Masters? Any follow-up? She was terrific! Sic transit gloria.

Are you remembering Avery Labarbera? She went on to Wisconsin 2022-23: Played and started in 30 games, missed only one game, due to injury...averaged 34.7 minutes per game, which ranked fifth in the Big Ten ... averaged 11 points per game and scored in double figures in 17 games ... had a season-high 20 points vs. Minnesota (Jan. 8) ... shot 37.9% from behind the three-point line, best on the team ... five games with four 3-point makes ... ranked second on the team in rebounds, averaging 5.3 rebounds per game, with a season-high 10 rebounds vs. Milwaukee (Nov. 7) ... tallied a career-high, nine assists vs. Bradley (Nov. 16) as she averaged 3.3 assists per game.

Avery will end up with two masters degrees as she was a grad assistant at BC this season. There is no portal for assistants so we can't track her progress toward getting a job as a full assistant somewhere next year. Hope she lands somewhere if that is what she wants after trying coaching for a year.

Definitely an uncalled foul on Clark but what does this have to do with Bronagh who is the subject of this thread.

Agree with Hoops - if you notice her shooting style she does not take a real ‘jump’ shot but has a quick release that gets the shot off without jumping - defensively, she does not move laterally well enough to cover ‘2’ guards which would be her matchup given her 5’10” height - if you’re watching the tourney the quickness and skill at the top of D.1 is amazing
