I seem to remember her missing time because of injury...but I do not know the exact nature of that.

It was a coach's decision to limit her minutes (maybe a good one for whatever reasons) - Callie Wright took her minutes I'd say and coach MM using a shorter rotation

Wright was in the starting lineup for the last nine games. It was quite a run. Last year's team may have been better because 1) no freshman came close to replacing Addie Cross and 2) the 2023 Saders avoided the first four round, but I wouldn't trade the excitement of this season's run. So happy for Callie her work over four years and her transfer decision were validated in the end.

Three things seemed to happen that overlapped each other, Foreman's scoring implosion, Donnelly's injury and Wright emergence. Oddly enough, Foreman played much better in the back half of the season coming off the bench. Donnelly basically never saw the floor again after the Lehigh game (20 mins) in late January. To what extent the falloff in mins was due to a slow recovery and Callie's fine play is unknown to me.

Donnelly and others have motivation over the summer to improve their game. We will have decent PL size next year and two good starting guards. It will be the first season of all pure MM recruits. No staff changes noted so far. All possibilities are open.

This year's team was better than last, IMHO.

This year's team was better than last, IMHO. So tough to compare. In some respects, their regular season results from 21/22 was the most impressive as the PL was much stronger from top to bottom that season.
