Prep alum here, super excited he got the offer. He lead a real nice run through districts and state playoffs for Prep when their season didn't start great.

From Scranton. Doherty's must like to stay close to home Targeting college class of 2030. Pat was originally college class of 2008. 22 year gap between first cousins sounds like a big Irish family. What are the odds with a name like Doherty? |

Not random- his cousin was a fine Crusader I know some of this extended family. Multiple Crusaders in the bunch. You can never say it's a lock but there's a deep affection for HC. |

Harder to quantify odds on Big but with the name Doherty, I'd say the odds are *95%+ that it's an Irish Family.  (* seems there is some Scottish origins to the name as well where the Scottish Docherty and Daugherty were modified) |

According to Verbal Commits, HC has offered two 2026 guards in recent days. DJ Biggins of Kingswood Oxford School and Kyon Cole Jr. of Pocono Mtn West HS. Biggins and Chuck Hare were teammates the last 2 years. Sounds like he has been a "player" at KO from day one of his frosh year.
