HC is spending $1.8 million re-purposing the old Cantor Art Gallery space. I cannot tell from the permits whether this also includes space in O'Kane used by Performing Arts, e.g., dance studios, costume shop. If it is just Cantor, the price for re-purposing the Fenwick Theater might be significant.
Other significant construction over the summer seems to be limited to roofs.

Cantor going to PPAC. That's from Vince directly and I think what Phreek posted. 6774 has it right about Admissions move.

Naming Champi now Champi-Condron is a fitting tribute to a man who has given many, many years to Holy Cross. Very well deserved, Kevin.

Since I'm more of a "gallop" guy, than a "cantor" guy, you could have (and did?) fool me.
At HCAA BOD meeting was told it was moving up (moved?) to PPAC so Admissions could be at the head of the O'Kane steps/porch and impress applicants and families. If they already moved Cantor in its entirety, then what are they taking out now?
Crucis, chime in here. You have better hearing and memory than I do!

Some advancement staff expect to be in new space in January.

I would believe the walls are being stripped to the studs of building materials, and sheet rock, light fixtures, electrical wiring, flooring, etc.
They will need to construct a brand new interior shell, and update the window casements prior to building the Admissions suite of offices.
O’Kane is a difficult building to renovate due to ADA accessibility issues. Will there be a need for a new elevator bank for compliance?

And brick repointing and limestone caulking for $400,000 -- building not identified, but there are not the many buildings with limestone. Also all repairs to be done-in-kind, a notation which could signify a historic building, such as O'Kane, Fenwick.

But such installations for O'Kane would not be summer-season dependent. If there is to be a new elevator bank, more likely would be done when Fenwick Theater is re-purposed. The studio theater in the basement was to be retained.
