Indiana was always a basketball hot spot but they didn't have a lot of people, weren't necessarily a transportation hub and definitely not a media center, of which New York was on all counts. But times change and Hoosiers will show up to events like the NIT so congratulations to Indianapolis.
This site coordination gives the venerable NIT a shot of Geritol. Seems like a good idea.

The NIT is on life support now between the power teams not participating, opt outs, and now the new "College Basketball Crown" tournament.

Speaking of Geritol…it is still produced. I remember the advertisement on the Ted Mack and The Original Amateur Hour. In case anyone wants if for their aches and pains after reaching a certain vintage, you can find it at Walgreens and through Amazon.

Remember it still (IIRC) contains iron. If you don't bleed a lot, you typically don't need iron (or have "tired blood" to quote the old commercial).

Was trying to hold off but if you insist, Crucis, that former Jesuit grandfather of mine was a sales manager for J.B. Williams Co. who made not only Geritol but Aqua Velva and some other things that I can't remember. "Grampy" had a closet full of their products in his home. Here's your connection, Crucis, I did not realize until perhaps 8-10 years ago that J.B. Williams' home office was in your neck of the woods, Glastonbury, CT. My cousin, is still Vice Principal of Glastonbury H.S. despite being a few months older than I. Anyway, when he informed us of the J.B. Williams "museum" locale, history professor son, went and got all kinds of pictures and material of his great grandfather. From memory, Williams sold Geritol and most everything to another company and closed up shop, P.S. My maternal grandfather, immigrant from Ireland and alleged descendent of the last high king of Ireland assured us that Geritol was a rip off.

Geritol’s partner, at least on the Lawrence Welk Show, was Serutan—“Remember, Serutan spelled backwards is Natures”

You asked:
Not sure this is comprehensive as I thought Sominex was one of their products. I'm too tired now to look for the stuff sader1998 got from the UConn archives beyond multiple pictures of my grandfather.
