One thing that I think kinda gets lost in the recent sloppy play is - our advantages in experience and poise made the difference (at least imo) in these last 2 wins. As tough as it was to watch last night, down the stretch last night our guys still made plays when they had to. Army and AU, on the other hand, showed their youth......but it might be different the next time around if we don't step it up a notch.

Taking 34 ft is impressive, especially in a slow paced game. This was a season high by 6. Making only 24 is not, but both numbers easily surpassed AU's 5-12. Statistically speaking that was the difference in the game. We had only a total of 18 fg, 3 of these were threes How many did we shoot in the last 3 minutes? Seemed like 50!! I was watching the game in a hotel lobby in Clearwater, FL. The guys who were there let me change to the game to watch most of the second half - and watched with me. In that last 3-5 minute stretch, they asked if HC was known for poor foul shooting. What puzzled them was that American seemed to only want to foul and did not go for a steal for several minutes.
