I hope so! That type of constant travel in such a short time can be rough. True for most teams but not our Crusaders. We seem to play better under these circumstances. I expect two wins.

Thanks Tom.
I had checked Flightaware city pairs before I posted my query,, and the last flight out of BWI to BOS on Wed night leaves at 10 PM. Ergo, an early Thursday departure.

Are the team's travel plans for @ Loyola and @ Navy such that they won't be busing back to Worcester tonight, and then busing back to Annapolis on Friday? Two trips - both in planes. In the classroom Thurs afternoon and Friday morning Are these commercial flights out of Providence or Boston, or do they take a charter out of Worcester as for the flight to Dayton last March? Oh, well maybe I am thinking of the pep band, not the team, which flew out of Worcester to Dayton. Not sure.

There's a Southwest flight to Providence that departs at 7 AM. There are five / six flights on JetBlue, Southwest, and Spirit between BWI and Boston, that arrive by mid-morning. My money would be on the 7 AM flight to Providence.
Jet charter would be prohibitively expensive, and they'd fly a charter into Worcester Wed, night.

My understanding is that we almost always use southwest out of providence to/from bwi for all of our teams flying down to maryland. (not every team flies so there are the long bus rides for many minor sports)

Team is flying home early tomorrow morning, then flying back down Fri night, then flying back home right after the game Saturday.
Such is life at a academics-first school...

All flights for the field of 68 are arranged by the NCAA and there are a decent amount of charters. I don't see HC picking up the cost of a charter

In their NCAA games, Bucknell has normally chartered out of Williamsport, with the NCAA picking up the cost.

This is a good thing the NCAA does and I'm guessing it has ample funds to do so. Why should a college like Bucknell, or HC for that matter, have to endure multiple connecting flights and layovers to get to a game against a team from a big city that has direct flights or even an easy drive?

Pretty big game tonight. 6-3 in the first half would be quite an achievement.

Pretty big game tonight. 6-3 in the first half would be quite an achievement. But for a bad second half in Bethlehem and a lackluster performance in Boston, it could have even been better,

In the classroom Thurs afternoon and Friday morning Just so a couple hundred people could watch the game on CBS Sports on Monday night. Pure insanity. The PL scheduling must be corrected to eliminate the Sunday & Monday madness.

I believe that the schools and the PL share the funds received from CBS for the Sunday & Monday televised games. If you want to stay in Div 1 and have games on TV you need to schedule when the networks demand you play. I've talked to many athletes over the past years and they like being on a national network.

KC to the bench early with foul trouble - this happens too often. Worse tonight, with both Champion and Floyd playing less than 100% healthy
