Under 1 min left and this thread is still on 1 page. Feel the excitement! I was too busy watching the game to post. Has little to do with excitement. In regard to excitement, great to see Champion's layup on the fast break after taking a beautiful pass. He looks to be getting back into shape.

Just the second time in PL play that we've held an opponent to sub 50% shooting on 2PT FG.

Great to see Champion leading team in points, rebounds, and assists. We need him to be back to his old self if we are going to make a run.

Why I love Carm:
Postgame interview with Lutsk on WEEI:
Lutsk: "...we'll be watching the Super Bowl down in Lewisburg Sunday nite. Who do you like?"
Carm: "The New York Football Giants"
My kind of guy...

I count 61 possessions in tonight's game, which means held Colgate to .82 PPP and turned them over on 31% of their possessions.

Even with a likely three-time POY, quite possible that Lehigh will whiff on the NCAAs for a fourth straight year. They just don't make PhDs like they used to . . .

I guess the only way the Doctor can win is by having a lottery pick on his roster.

Even with a likely three-time POY, quite possible that Lehigh will whiff on the NCAAs for a fourth straight year. If LU's collapse continues, Kempton will not be a slam dunk for POY. Only twice in PL history has the POY come from a team that finished worse than 2nd - once from a 3rd place team and once fro a 4th place team. If he cannot lead Lehigh - who likely has the league's most talent - to a high finish, it may cost him votes. It is possible his whining could cost him a vote or two as well.

Back from the game and total agreement it was an ugly win but I will take an ugly win over an elegant loss any day.
RC still does not look 100% but probably 90%-95% and that may have been the difference tonight. I saw the post about CLS actually attempting o-boards and wondered the same thing. However, it appears he does what PB does . . . . doesn't dart immediately back on D but rather loiters for a potential loose ball but then runs back full speed if it looks like no chance. I am still confused why the purposeful lack of effort for rebounds. In fact, while we were taking a 1 & 1, we had MH and our two short guards conferencing with CWC with only 1 of our guys in the lane while our shot was attempted. Wish Lutsk would ask him what his theory is in this strategy. I get not wanting to get beat on a fast break but all 5 conceding rebounds?
I love Husek's long ball. A nice stroke and if memory is correct, he got 11 big points tonight and a deflection or two. Two assists and 3 rebounds.
AT needs a solid red light on 3s . . . . 1 for 6 tonight. While he helps in many ways, 3s are not one of them.
KC not his best performance with 8 points but 4 turnovers and only 2 rebounds and not much better than AT beyond the arc with 1 for 5.
If we are going to put it all together to make a push, better start now.

The "any win is a good win" argument is empty when the team is not actually improving.
I would much rather have a team that is improving and coming along strong play well and lose, than have a team that is stuck in the mud and, if anything, regressing win in a crappy performance against a terrible opponent.

I suppose he needed some sort of attempted angle since HC won...
