Guessing all white with the polished purple helmets....although I'd prefer the purple pants. That would look sharper on HD TV.
I believe UConn has thankfully ditched the dog face helmets in favor of a more traditional look.

Any idea on how many are allowed to travel to the game tonight? Any freshman on the sidelines in uniform?

It is not surprising that there are no freshmen on the two-deep published for this game. That is, IMO, entirely consistent with Coach Gilmore's practice of gradually introducing the freshmen to the college game.
That being said, however (and this is speculation on my part), I anticipate that there may well be freshmen on the sidelines in uniform and perhaps even a couple of freshmen playing on special teams (kickoffs, punts, kickoff returns, punt returns, etc.).

Pretty sure conferences typically set limits on travel team size, but since it's a one day trip - no hotel - and not a conference game, I'm going to guess the whole team will travel. Can't imagine UConn would object to that.

I could very well be wrong about this, but my understanding is that there are limits on travel team size (not sure of exact number, I think it is somewhere between 57 and 60) for Patriot League games. These limits would not apply to out-of-conference games.

To answer a previous question -- the Twitter pictures of the players on the bus for the ride to Connecticut (see the Game Day thread) show at least 3 freshmen traveling to the game.

HC football has a gray uniform for this season in addition to all Purple and all White.
Has anyone seen the uniform combinations for this year? Many schools provide pictures of the team uniforms before the start of the season.

Participation report shows (no stats though, that I can see):
Grant Holloman, DB; Conor Degenhardt, QB; Tenio Ayeni, WR; Kendrick Knight, LB; Benton Whitley, LB; Jack Bowler, OL; John Brekke, OL
I always thought that only folks who made it onto the field "participated" but never saw Conor at QB and don't recall any of the others involved. So, I guess "participation" simply means suited up.

No, participation means played in the game.
It was difficult to tell from watching the game on television when any of these players were actually in the game. I suspect that most of them played on special teams (kickoffs, kickoff returns, punts, punt returns, FG attempts, opponent's FG attempts, XP attempts, opponent's XP attempts).
Agree that I did not see Degenhardt take any snaps at QB. Don't have any other information or insights.

Thanks for re-setting my original understanding. That said, at least these 7 were suited up and took the trip down to East Hartford, since that seemed to be the question at hand.

That would make a lot of sense but I did not notice during the game.

The other 6 freshmen are still listed as playing. Another freshman OL (Brian Foley) has been added.
