Attrition rate can be high. The class that graduated last spring went from 16 incoming freshmen to 11 rostered seniors.

Had some issues at the faceoff, that was expected but all in all it was a decent showing. Got a good look at the offense, it is fast with good athletes and lots of new players. I think once they get comfortable with playing with each other this will be a good group for the next couple of years. They played hard and with a decent amount of confidence, lot of guys with good hands.
Defensively, they will pull it together and have some experience there and this group will pull together nicely. They were on the field for long stretches and it appears they are in very good shape, they kept the tempo up the whole time.
Looking forward to 2018

Quite frankly, the lacrosse teams are the ones which will get the most competitive advantage from the Luth turf field. Imagine how much easier it is going to be to practice on January 20th indoors on a safe field at reasonable temperatures. Our squads ought to be better conditioned and have better timing and execution from being able to hold longer, more active practices.

I saw that they had their first practice in the Luth yesterday. I agree with you, out of all the sports they will get the advantage of better practices. Even though you have to play games in the cold and other weather mother nature tosses at them, they get quality practices and can go longer.
