I cannot claim any in depth knowledge of that. Coach, Let’s be clear. A “depth of knowledge” is not a requirement to post on Crossports. True. In some cases, not even a "shallow."

Kids are actually able to change their finals date in some cases. I have no understanding of this phenomenon by the way. I had to change my final in one class at U of New Hampshire as you are NOT allowed to take more than 2 finals in a day there (only four classes was a full load). I was scheduled for three that day.

Reno wasn’t a fake candidate. 2 different, independent sources confirmed it. Including the Captain, who seems to know more than most about the happenings in this search. Yeah, we all agree he was listed as a candidate on the scoop board; no one's doubting the people that saw it...but who put him on there? That's the reason for my 'fake' opinion. Perhaps real, more likely not...but let's move on please. Reno interviewed...confirmed

From a friend at AC. It is Chesney. If true, I think this is a great move for Holy Cross and I will be around more for some Holy Cross football games! Not questioning you just saying in general.

He definitely had a strong cadre of friends and allies throughout the faculty and administration at Assumption, during my time there. So, I suspect he'd be similarly successful relationally. (It seems he is so with the student athletes, too.) And, the performance is the performance.

a close friend left coaching baseball at assumption a few years back, a big part of his leaving was the schools new focus on Football financing including scholarship monies etc. Maybe plotting a move to D1 to become Worcester's new team.
Good for them if so.
Assumption baseball and football both 1-0 in the Patriot League the past decade.

I remember when Cory Bailey brought Assumption to Fordham and upset his alma mater.

I remember when Cory Bailey brought Assumption to Fordham and upset his alma mater. Good thing we also beat Fordham that year for Homecoming, otherwise Assumption would have been officially able to declare themselves "city champs".
I was at the baseball game where Assumption beat us in a pre-PLT tune-up.

Maybe, upon reading through this thread there's been enough vitriol instilled in ADNP that he's purposefully delaying the announcement as long as possible at this point while he sits back with a grin on his face refreshing this page every 5 minutes....

I hope Mr. Pine and the coaching staffs are smart enough not to read our board.

That's great. Now, in addition to wanting to know the identity of the next HC head coach, I have a craving for popcorn.

"I'm REALLY not going to pay attention to Crossports this year!!!"

For what it's worth, I met NP probably within a week or two of his becoming AD. My advice to him was twofold: 1. Make it a point to meet NAD, the biggest fan of HC sports, basketball more specifically and 2. Never, ever read Crossports And, no, I am not making this up.
