the league has an overall record of 53-52 vs. D.1 opponents as the ooc portion of the schedule has concluded. That looks respectable except when you see the 'strength of schedule' ranking. the league is 29th of 32 D.1 leagues. (good work by the AD's and coaches). Another example of the gap that the Ivies have created with the PL is women's basketball. Their ooc record is 52-34 (fewer games because of fewer teams) and their 'strength of schedule' ranking is '13th' nationally. I continue to be amazed at just how mediocre our league is in so many sports.
The top 3 teams at this stage are: Navy 10-1 record with its best win at Richmond by 20 points. American 7-4 record with its best win over Penn State by 9 (in D,C,), and Army 7-4 record with its best win over Dartmouth by 15 (at West Point)
HC has a fighting chance to make a run this year as there are no powerhouse teams - but we have to play much better to make that happen.

But Penn State destroyed Holy Cross last season....so maybe American is the team to beat.

Both American and Navy look strong. Sagarin ranks Navy as #63 and American at #103. PL overall is ranked 21st of the 32 conferences.
