We lose but we found five that earned the right to start next game, PB, MF, JF, Grandy and AB. I like it, for the most part. But Pat Benzan is not that great. He needs to come off the bench, all he does is yell and miss shots.

Gottta get the ball to AB at the end, not KC...AB was only perimeter threat, and he can go deep.....the guys hung in there, a few changes on D late that maybe will foreshadow what can be......

That is on the players...not the coaches... The defensive ineptness is not on the players. It is on the scheme. The same thing is happening game after game after game - and nothing changes defensively. Just to defend DiMarz - he was referring to our lazy passes on the perimeter, not anything defensively.

I feel bad for Butler, he wants to win so bad and most of the players and coaches are going through the motions. Understand the frustration, but sorry, this is BS as far as I'm concerned.

We are now 1-14 in games when opponents score 80+ points since Carmody took over. Offense is not enough.

They continue to loose. Improvement is very little. In the end, it is all about records and championships not loosing to teams by less and less every time. I am sure you are frustrated to, but do you think Charles is playing as hard as Austin Butler? if he was, he would be a top player in the Patriot League. He is a junior and for the most part of the season, he is a no show.

Lehigh took nearly 50% of their shots from deep and made 57% - both way above their season averages.

Points off turnovers - HC, 31-9. Getting turnovers is not enough.

And we shot 8.3% against Lafayette at home the last game. A lot of them were open shots. Don't know the stats from the Lehigh game but we shot a lot better tonight. But we just can't match most opponents on open 3s, and yes, the Mountain Hawks had a lot of wide open 3s. Difference is they made them.

He needs to come off the bench, all he does is yell and miss shots. He is the only guy who communicates on the floor. Given the way the staff is coaching, having someone on the floor who will at least communicate is a huge plus. Can’t play a PG who is not going to actually “run the show.” Benzan is the only guy ready to do that right now.

10 made fouls vs 1 for us. 15 3s vs 12 for us. 18 points Very telling. We had a grand total of three FTAs - Lehigh had fifteen.

Difference is they made them. We took over 40% of shots from three, and made 44%, which is very good. That's kind of the point. Whether we shoot very well from three (like tonight), or poorly (like vs. Lafayette), we can't win defending this way. Getting lots of points off TOs or not so many - doesn't matter if we allow teams to take set shots from three.

Coach took Faw and AB to task for not moving feet to get body in front of opponent. KC and green should come off the bench for awhile. Saw the silver lining tonight

I did not listen to the HC audio and obviously when I am at the home games I never hear CWC's post game comments. I don't care to hear of any coach throwing individual players under the bus. I also haven't seen any/many posts of the coach taking ownership for losses. That was the big; sorry, one of the big criticisms of MB. Then, again, don't recall many confessions from Ralph either. Perhaps they teach that at Coach's School?
I am as frustrated as anyone here with the seeming lack of progress over the last 2.5 years and this season. That said, despite some critical posts on this thread of KC, I thought he played much, much better than he has all season and gives me hope he is on the mend. He was all over on defense and knocked a couple of balls loose whether he gets credit for the TO or not. AB, as I said, is a warrior on both ends of the floor and someone who knows what it is like to win and wants to do it on this team too. JF is coming on not only offensively but as an intimidating shot blocker. Let's give CWC some credit that he kept JF in the game even when he had 4 fouls and stayed a lot longer than one would have expected based on the past.
I am ambivalent about PB. Yes, he brings experience but we seem to jump on a big, early lead when he's on the bench and lose it when he comes in the game. LeSann got some court time today and don't recall him being on the floor the last 2-3 games. Maybe he was sick?
We better beat Loyola and big for me to believe we've turned the corner.
