1 day ago on Twitter he indicated good news coming. He just got off an Official Visit to Western Carolina as well this past weekend.

OK, for those keeping score at home: Lehigh +2 assistant coaches from Holy Cross Holy Cross +1 recruit from Lehigh Wouldnt mind if it were just 1 recruit. He #3 or 4. Disappointing. An excellent recruit but not a position of need for us Up side we pick up a full ride for someone else. I am not sure TG is value-added for recruits nowadays. Lehigh admins/hiring committee might think differently.
Chesney's recent basketball halftime interview came very close (very very close) to saying we brought in more talent this year than in the recent past. He was very diplomatic...and veered to praising the winning programs the new HC recruits come from and then graciously added that the entire team was talented (or something along those lines).
Edit: By recent I mean Saturday's Lafayette game.

Of the top 100 FCS recruits as of October (per Hero Sports), 17 were headed to the PL. 8 of those 17 are headed to HC. That list will obviously change as new kids come into the top 100 and others drop out but a very strong start to the class.

Another day, another commitment! And for the second day in a row, a recruit from St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City.
Based on his Hudl highlights, it appears that Haughney is a Punter.

A May 2018 evaluation of Haughney from Kohl’s Kicking, which I think is the same outfit that raves about Ng last year:
Haughney attended the Spring Showcase Camp in May of 2018. He had a solid showing during the charting portion of punts at camp. Haughney also demonstrated the ability to do the roll-out punt. The upcoming months will be key for Haughney to continue to grow and develop into a college punting prospect.

Remember the naysayers last year who said Bob Chesney would not be able to recruit to HC because he had no D-1 experience and could not relate to high-academic student-athletes?

I don’t recall that being suggested. Was it really?

You may have omitted the smiley on that one. On the off chance you are seriously asking, I am sure you remember when HC and NP were getting heat about the hire (and its timing) that one of the points raised was that Chesney had no D1 recruiting experience. PS: Don't worry. He does now.

PS: Don't worry. He does now. I do recall folks (who apparently had no idea he played at Dickenson and coached at Johns Hopkins) thought he'd have trouble recruiting academic kids. And others thought he'd be out of his depth talent-wise (particularly off base considering the talent he's coached). I think most of us - when we got to know his personality and communication skills - realized (some quicker than others) he'd be a home run with today's athletes and their parents. And he is.
(To be fair, the timing did trip us up with last year's recruits [early signing date] but that is not a knock on Chesney - he did a nice job on the later signing date.)

To reset the deck with 3 weeks to go until the next signing day:
Based on 5th year players projections/kids leaving the team/Seniors departing, the team has 69 roster spots filled heading into Spring ball. Leaving 21 spots for a 90 man roster. They signed 14 kids on the first signing day and have 2 more verbals (Asante and Haughney), leaving 5 players to recruit if they wanted to have a full 90 man roster. Here is the position breakdown based on how the team ended last year and what they have coming in with projected positions:
18 OL 6 TE 5 QB 7 RB 9 WR 20 DB 6 LB 10 DL 4 K/P
I would think maybe a couple of OL might switch to DL, or maybe a TE back to DL; maybe a couple of the larger DB's to LB; maybe a DL back to LB or a RB to WR
With 5 roster spots available needs IMO are DL/OLB; QB; WR (based on productivity lost)

Western Carolina had a home visit with Harris’s mom tonight in Raleigh while he’s back at school in TN. Guess he’s not committed to HC but still a possibility.

Anybody know if we had recruits on campus for a visit this weekend or is that planned for the next two weekends when students are back?

I haven't heard much. Since recruiting period opened I haven't seen any additional offers beyond the two verbals they got last week. My understanding is the upcoming weekend would be a big weekend for recruiting. Not sure about 2/2-2/3 weekend. Only going off of what I've seen on twitter the players they seem to continue to be in the mix on are the following:
Harris - DL from TN - 31 offers (seems to be high on West Carolina list) Hull - WR from IN - double digit offers; father played at HC Overton - WR from TX who also has a twin; not sure if they are a package deal - about 12 offers Coulson - WR from FL; took official visit to HC; seems to continue to seek FBS offers; has double digit offers Hudson - WR from TX; took official visit to HC; like Coulson seems to be holding out for FBS offer Spencer - DB from GA; infamous 404 tweet indicating a verbal commit a while back that never solidified Leak - DL from GA; offered just before first signing day; about 10 offers Busic - DL from MD; double digit offers including a few FBS (UMASS among others) Tipton - WR from OH; few coaches started following him after first signing day; no offer confirmed; offers from MAC schools Swink - DL from CA; few coaches started following him after first signing day; not much in the way of reported offers via Twitter
The above commentary is conjecture on my part based on Twitter following. 2 weeks and 2 days....

The 2019 football roster is now updated on the Holy Cross football web page.
Notable --
--- There are five 5th-year seniors listed -- DB Corey Stefanik; TE Derek Mountain; DL Kevin Bucceroni; OL Brett Boddy; OL Jackson Dennis.
--- Two underclassmen on last year's roster are no longer listed.
--- One former player who was not on the roster last year has returned.
--- There are 86 players listed. (Consequently, unless there is any further attrition, that leaves only 4 roster spots open for additional recruits or transfers. If the two commitments noted recently are considered, there are only two openings left.)

May be some changes but probably not many. Weights may be updated during the summer.

Thanks Breezy. Interesting stuff. WR corps is glaringly thin and only Ayeni with any considerable production coming back. Gilliam had a few catches as well.
