If we have just one scholarship to offer in 2020, hard to understand why we would be looking at a PG. . . . NERR identifies him as a 6-4 G. That doesn't seem like a priority, either.

unless we sign someone late, I believe we have 2 next year seems that although he played the point at Bergen last season, at 6'3"-4", and a good shooter, he could play the 2 or maybe even the 3 for us with the start he is having at Tilton, we may be the first to offer, but there will be more, and most likely higher offers

You don't see many high school games breaking 200 combined points---not a lot of tight defense being played there I guess.

some of the immense offensive talent overwhelms even the minimal attempt at defense

Yes. Of course, seeing someone as the best player available takes into consideration both player talent and how that talent can meet HC's needs - both now and in the future.

I may be reading the page incorrectly, but I didn’t see anything in this link about a recent offer.

For just slightly more than a millisecond this aternoon, there was a tweet from SG Zarique Nutter (Newark Central HS, Newark, NJ) stating that he had received an offer from Holy Cross. It was quickly deleted.

It is 40 minutes (halves of 20) for AAA. For AA, it is 36 minutes (halves of 18), which is what Tilton plays. The lower levels play 32 minutes. All divisions have a 30 second shot clock.

Maybe "lists" is a better verb than "confirms". VC is spotty at best.

Maybe "lists" is a better verb than "confirms". VC is spotty at best. Probably. In any event, they only report offers shown on twitter or a few other sources. They don't do any research as to whether the report is legit.

In a 34 point win, Jalen had 16 pts, 5 assists, 4 rebs, 4 steals, 2 blocks. May have helped at the concession stand also.

In a 71-49 win over St. Joe’s of Montvale, normally a good team—see Jason Williams of Duke—Soucie’s had 18 pts, 4 rebs, 4 assists, 3 steals. Martini had 14 pts, 13 rbs, 3 assists, 2 blocks

New Jersey has three schools with that name. (Used to have at least five at one time.) Williams played for St. Joes of Metuchen, which has been the best one. St. Joes of Montvale has had some good teams but never made a state parochial final. The Metuchen version has made a number of them. That school, in addition to producing Jay Williams, also had Karl Anthony-Towns, Andrew Bynum, and Gary Witts, among others.
