Remember Ben White from last year's baseball team ? Slowed by injuries at HC but managed to be recruited as a grad transfer at Tulane while earning a masters degree. (Is he the first grad transfer from HC in 'any' sport?) Thought I'd see how he did this season, and it looks like his arm problems were solved as he appeared in 23 games, mostly in relief. Here's his season stats tulanegreenwave.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=4671

Wasn't RJ a graduate transfer? He graduated from HC and pursued a master's degree at UConn.

My younger daughter is a Tulane grad-- a fine school in a great city. Tulane has a new baseball stadium on campus--very, very nice. I'm happy to see another Crusader having success in grad school athletics

Baseball has had 4 or 5 kids go this route in last decade, ranging from Gomez at UCF to Kono at Duke.

Took the wonderfully slow old-time trolly line over to Tulane. Odd somewhat tight/cramped rectangular campus but still lovely architecture and surrounding homes/neighborhood.
Saw the new football stadium and a glimpse of the baseball stadium but view was limited from the outfield parking lot.
( a bit disconcerting to see nearby huge earthern mounds holding back the water )
