I'm thinking 5...4-2 in PL, 1-4 OOC I'll think I'll just put this right here...

I picked 5 wins, but that could have been more with a break or two. This could've been the first team to beat both Yale and Harvard in the same season (1 play away). 4 straight wins to cap the year and 2nd in the PL. Dominated the last quarter (except for BC, of course). All of that could change next year. Check out the quote at the bottom of each of my posts...that is more true today than ever.

Going with 6 wins -glass full guy Key to winning 5+ games this season is for . defense and special teams play at a very high level . offense doesn’t turn the ball over . limit injuries to the O line . level of enthusiasm stays high . players believe they are getting better each day . staff continues to promote a winning attitude Many variables for certain, but possible. Of course they can do all of the above and fall short but still have a good season as they lay the foundation for the future Looking forward to a season filled with interesting story lines and some Ws While the prediction of 6 wins was wrong, i still believe that despite falling short it was a good season that sets the stage for a better future

I was one of the 7 who predicted 4 wins at the end of the season. My reasons:
1) We played the best Patriot team in our first game, the rest of the league was really poor
2) I watched many of the games on TV and I was impressed that the team improved along the way, especially on defense
3) They started poorly in many of the games but came storming back
4) Coach Chesney has the players buying in to the system
Nice end to the season.

I predicted 4 and am happy the 1-point come-from-way-behind victory v Georgetown made me wrong!
With a strong recuit class coming in, sweeping the PL games is a distinct possibility. Do that and add two OOC victories and it's a winning season!

No reason to expect that we should be ranked any lower than second preseason in 2019.
And we get Colgate in Worcester -- not that home field advantage has helped much against them in recent years. We get mighty Georgetown at home too!
Non-conference schedule even more daunting than this season, only game we will likely be favored is against Brown.

You, sir, are a machine!!!! You just keep cranking out these fine predictions time after time you are too, ky! throughout the course of our crossports/holy cross rivals football and basketball season predictions overthe last 20 years or so, i don’t think anyone has been consistently more accurate than you. which is one of the reasons i am encouraged when we are on the same page (as we were with football this year) and believe our basketball optimism is well-founded.

I think we can get to 6 wins playing a more difficult schedule next year if we can solve the qb / oc issue.
I think we can contend for the PLC with 6 wins.

Will be interesting to see if they move Cozier and Bruno to WR next season and go with Oliver and Alexander in the backfield. Moving cozier might get him into open space more frequently and he could be dynamite on yards after catch
Still like him as a RB and the move to WR means the QB can make the plays

I see Tenio Ayeni and spencer Gilliam having breakout seasons at WR next year.
Cozier, in my opinion, is a very good RB and should stay there.
Let's use Oliver more--would not be surprised to see Coach Chesney put some new plays and formations into our offense to capitalize on his talents.

We’ll live and die by QB. Being realistic, and akin to BC this year, Navy and Syracuse will not provide any meaningful experience for a new QB. This is one of those years where a couple of cream puffs early on would have been good. The OOC portion of the schedule may essentially be a break-in period for our new QB for the PL half of the season. Would not be surprised if we’re going into the FCs playoffs at around .500 or lower.
Give the ball to Oliver.
