Didn’t one of our posters predict that the Crusaders would win byway of a last second field goal

Amazing finish. Hats off to our rock star fresh kicker for erasing an absolutely embarrassing string of offensive play calls on that final possession.
This is a game that we lose at any point in the last nine years. Not really!! Coach new what he had in a kicker and played it correctly..Safe plays, low risk of a turnover! I'm surprised he didn't go for the FG on 3rd down....Well done!!!!

When was our last home win against Yale?
I believe we beat them last on the road in 2005 in New Haven.

when given the chance to play, this team is AWESOME! can't wait for the Dartmouth game! GO 'SADERS! An argument could be made that playing a team like BC prior to this game helped us prepare for today. We're never going to agree on this...but that's my side of the argument anyway.

According to the announcers, Chesney said Ng is better as a freshman than Cole Tracy was. Tracy now kicks for LSU and the LSU coach said he wishes he had him for one more year, Tracy is that good.. Ng's FG would have been good from 50+
Ng now becomes a very potent weapon.
A great, great win. And thankfully, there is no more QB shuffle. Wade can stretch the field with his vertical game, and always could.

Funny thing about the reviews ...right before the shovel pass the linesman gave Yale an extra yard on a running play that he didn't deserve at all. Went out of bounds and did not have the ball leaning forward when he did, the ball and where he touched the sideline were pretty much one and the same.
Thought it would be reviewed but wasn't. Should have been 4th and 2, not 4th and 1. Maybe Yale kicks a fg instead of what they did.

(i'm not in the mood for "argument" right now. just want to enjoy the moment)

I was surprised Yale didn't go for the FG. Shades of the Dartmouth game, IIRC.
Also, a tip of the hat to ADNP, FCTG, and the ground crew for the field being in absolutely great shape. That investment in new turf has paid off, and helps the kicking game.

HC 24 Yale 21 Ng for the W as time expires. Book it. Slightly off on the score but still buying myself something nice for this call. Amazing win. I suspect the Chesney bandwagon will start to get pretty crowded pretty soon.

Conservative play calliing there to set up FG chance Must have confidence in the kicker. Chesney wasn’t even paying attention to the game on third down. He was pumping up Ng who is even better than advertised. Still can’t believe what i just witnessed.
