Additional information and highlights from the 1936 team. The most outstanding football player in the catholic league in Philadelphia is named after Paul Bartolomeo, who was a half back on the 1936 team noted as being in the top 20 nationally. Wouldn't we have been ranked higher than #17 to get an Orange Bowl bid? The poll is from 1936. The Orange Bowl bid was in 1946. LoveHC The question was asked if this #17 ranking was the highest ever for HC. I suppose I should have used the quote feature
