Agree, this is another under-appreciated team that gets very little attention. I do have a question - in looking at the rosters, how can the men's team compete in D.1 with only 18 swimmers/divers (and only 4 frosh). Is the new coach able to attract more competitive swimmers to the program in order to compete in the PL ? (I note the womens team does not have a numbers shortage and suppose that's because they have some Title IX dollars to use)

How are doing so far? I have no idea... Women defeated Providence, men lost to Providence. Women are getting scollie help, which increased substantially between 2015-16 and 2016-17; don't have the 2017-18 values yet. These probably will be delayed as a lingering effect of the government shutdown.

Have a Homecoming meet against D-III Springfield College
I thought this rivalry might have gone by the wayside with the retirement of Coach Parenteau. The Springfield swim/dive coach is the brother of Parenteau Sr's first star swimmer at HC and Coach Parenteau Sr remained in touch with the family for years
