Loyola 7-3. Seems like they’re winning majority of face offs.

HC closed to 10-9 but Loyola just scored to make it 11-9 at 7:37 in the 3rd period. This is a most impressive performance by the Crusaders.

The second half of the game was at a different level of play for HC. When they closed to 11-10, there was a flicker of hope for a minute of a repeat of the Harvard game. This is a team that can reach .500 (which means a heck of a lot more in the PL than in most lax leagues).
I can understand some folks not coming back to watch the second half, especially after the last Loyola goal before the half. In previous years, when HC was trailing, the second half would just see an opponent's lead steadily grow. That is not the case with this team and these players.

Yes Burke is doing an outstanding job. You will watch him let his assistants coach. He is very calm and he fires up these kids. Listening to the game made me sick, announcers love for Toomey and #7 was just a bit too much. This is no fluke,HC besides Providence, has rang up a lot of goals from different player every game. #11 had them tripping on themselves. There were at least 6 calls that were just flat out BS, that were possession changers. There was no way those refs were going to let HC come down and beat Loyola. Hell Toomey was telling the refs when to call a penalty it was pathetic. I read on the Loyola post that they had a hangover from the Towson game. No they did'nt they just got beat by a better offense then what they have seen. We just put up 15 goals against the #1 team in the country, that is a fact. Our offense had their heads spinning in a zone d.
Congrats to the coaches and the boys. Keep angry and move on to Bucknell and kicks so butt. This is the type of program building we have been waiting for.

This being the Patriot league, I assume we will play them at home later in the season. Let's see how we do in that game.

I am not only serious but showcasing my ignorance - or lack of real interest - in this sport. If it didn't involve Holy Cross I would care about this as much as I do swimming and diving or golf results.
