Saw this Season Preview and didn’t see a thread for other previews only Rankings so figured I’d start this one and we can add links to other previews as they are available. Here’s the Hero Sports preview - a pretty good assessment. They’ve already done several other PL Previews (see links at the bottom of the HC preview). Going thru the League alphabetically. Only Lafayette & Lehigh are left. herosports.com/fcs/football-2019-preview-holy-cross-patriot-league-bzbz

Yes the team was 6-4 but Chesney was 5-6. He must have taken three weeks off and went 1-2 with another team. BTW, hats off to the young man doing the write-up because he is making a go of an activity we do gladly for enjoyment. Nice to learn there is a website devoted to FCS football. When HC gets mentioned in national polls it is fun to follow FCS. When HC is struggling, not so much.

Another thought, it's not really a deep dive when the QB position isn't analyzed, but still nice to have a website following FCS/PL/HC.

Nice preview. Can Domenic Cozier run for 1,000 yards this year? It mY be tough with the depth we have at RB but he is a talent...,,

Interesting on Morrison. He's 6'4 WR. Scott went to Monmouth; Copley playing D3 back in Ohio. Don't think the other three are playing.
Graduating Sr's (21) related to this year's recruiting class: 2 RB (have 1 so far); 2 K/P (probably will need to sign 1 or 2); 5 DBs (have 2 so far); 1 QB (have 2 so far); 4 OL (need to get a few in this class); 3 DL (have 1 so far); 1 WR (not as pressing a need after 6 Frosh in this upcoming class); 2 TE (massive need here - none yet); 1 LB (have 1 so far)

Copley offered by navy and Dartmouth among others and he ended up at Gannon university? What happened?

(1) Eddie Scott saw no action as a freshman. dharry tells us he moved on to Monmouth--he's a New Jersey native. HC appears to be really stocked up nicely with future QB talent now and he likely saw little hope of seeing the field
(2) Matt Vecchiarelli did get into a couple of games last year as a sophomore, carrying the ball twice
(3) Justin Knotts--offensive lineman saw no action in his first three seasons--perhaps he's staying to get his egree but is just tired of being a practice player?? EDIT: Back on the roster per breezy
(4) Mike Mambuca-- did not see the field in his first two seasons as an o-lineman
(5) Mason Copley--listed as a Tight End last year but did not play in any games

Today, Justin Knotts has been restored to the roster, and it is now at the PL maximum of 90.
