He's from Sudbury, Mass which gave us the late Buddy "The Sudbury Bomber" Venne. I went to grad school at NU with Buddy-great guy.

Assuming the offers are accurate, this could be our best recruit since Jordan Stevens (Bucknell, Siena) or RJ Evans (Harvard).
I’ll take a roster full of guys with offers from Bucknell, Vermont, and UNC Greensboro — 3 teams in the KenPom top 100 at least 2 of the past 3 years.
Thank you BN and RJ for bringing hope back to this program.

Geez and I thought we were only recruiting vs Umass Boston. That was just under the previous coach when it was against St. Mike’s.

Buddy was a good friend , a remarkable person and imho an undervalued shooter and player. For those that remember his first half against UCONN in theAuditorium as a sophomore it could have been or was one of the best shooting performances for HC in the past 50 years

Humphrey and Martindale appear to be two solid recruits, particularly in view of the late transition of coaches. Watched the You Tube video on Martindale and he can definitely shoot and puts it on floor pretty well too. Can jump and dunk. No film on passing, rebounding or defense. Tough to judge his height because of the camera angle but I would say at least 6’4” and quite possibly a bit taller. His size, shooting and movement were reminiscent to me of another prep school SF recruited for the class of ‘22.

One of the videos did show good vision on some scoring passes. He had pretty good assist stats per minute in the EYBL

Welcome, Judson!
Should get multiple opportunities to watch Judson in action this season against the usual high-quality competition Worcester Academy faces in NEPSAC AA.

Welcome aboard Judson!
To have the 20-21 roster in place on 10/5/19, after losing 2 guys late in the offseason, is a nice accomplishment for Coach Nelson and Staff. Looking at the roster, it would indeed seem that the intention is to play fast.
It does give us some comfort level to grab kids that have a good deal of offers. Another player from the past that comes to mind is Phil Beans; iirc he had offers from all over the place, conference wise. Having said that, Malcolm Miller was lightly recruited. And when I hear St. Michael's mentioned, I always think of Jimmy McCaffrey, who started there. I would think we all agree that recruiting is anything but an exact science.

Ryan Wade had offers from Toledo (61) and San Diego (90) in Kenpom.2019., as well as Central Michigan, Kent State, Detroit, San Diego, North Dakota Air Force, and Southland Conference champ, Sam Houston State Drew Lowder (3 stars) had an offer from Toledo also, as well as teams, though not strong last season, are also in the highly ranked MAC— Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois

According to NERR, Worcester Academy has 4 of the top 42 players in New England, in the Class of 2020. I believe they are going to update their rankings in November.

We lost him much too young. Unfortunately, a close friend and floor mate. Tony Falzone, just passed last month from pancreatic cancer same as Jack McGovern.
2 good friends gone in the last 30 days. I guess I am now of the age this happens often. RIP all of you. You were all remarkable people.

great recruit with an impressive set of offers. agree that he is probably the best in that regard that we've had in some time.
however, as hoops noted, lowder and wade also had impressive sets of offers that were at least as good as stevens and better than most during the rw era and all during the mb era. of course, that doesn't fit the tired narrative that carmody didn't recruit at all.
