He was at today’s Open Practice. I am going to guess he was the very tall young man in the maroon sweatshirt.

Would either or both of you please tell us something about the practice. Thank you High energy and intensity. Lots of work on defense and rebounding. I don’t think HC will finish last in rebounding in the nation. Many injured players who were very limited in practice. Most serious appeared to be Copeland who had a boot on. RJ was forced into duty during 5 on 5 work. I was somewhat surprised by Faw’s movement on defense, he seemed quicker, and the overall play of Verbeek. Harris also surprised me with his shooting. I could also see the need to bring in another frosh point after Green transferred.

How about putting it in the open practice thread, not a recruit commitment thread.

It’s very clear we are recruiting at another level now.
Welcome, Mike.

I know it’s been posted elsewhere, but what were his other offers?

Brown, Lehigh, BU and AU jumped in after us with offers. Had a handful of AE offers before. Beating out Lehigh and BU is a good thing.

Having a pipeline with WA would be really, really nice. The staff over there must be really impressed with BN.

My guess is based on the open gym tape, he would certainly have gotten more offers. Great that we got this commit now. A highly skilled 6’9”.

What a pleasant surprise!
I hope Langel and Nathan Davis enjoyed their run with a lifeless HC program — the party may (hopefully) be over sooner than we thought.

Would this not put us over 13 scholarships for the 2020-21 season?
Did we ever get confirmation as to whether Sandy is a scholarship player?

A puzzle indeed unless we have one Known transfer likely or A member of the 2019 class is financing his own or on academic scholarship
