I asked this elsewhere, but got no answer. So...HC started basketball in 1900. In their first year they were 6-6. The captain was Michael J. Lawlor. Who was the head basketball coach for that team? (Try to answer this without looking it up).
BTW: The next year (the team that had the record for greatest losing margin until this week) HC went 4-5. The losing margin was to Dartmouth (27-78). That HC team also beat Dartmouth at home (25-18). The fact that Northeastern did what they did to HC at the Hart compounds the enormity of that loss. The head coach of that team was J. Fred Powers.

The other day I was looking through the archives for the worst loss and if I remember correctly didn’t they lose to Saint Jerome Temptation that year something like 53 to 15
