Nobody from the RW era has gone up on the wall with Cooz, Togo, Ronnie, "the Shot" etc., iirc. What's the thinking on that?

Seriously, do you think anyone in RW's era are in the same area code as those folks? All-Americans, NBA players (some all-stars).
They were excellent players but not in the same category.

Next should be Potter and Siudut

There are other better or equal players to the stars of that era not included. Standards for consideration have been set as identified by by sader1970

Those standards insure there will be ZERO additions, which is absurd How many are in the Ring of Honor ?

Next should be Potter and Siudut Personally I would include Blaney, Vicens, Witts and Williams George and Garry played in the NBA Williams led the NCAA in assists as a senior with 9.93 assists/game-4th all time Michael because he changed the culture and we compare all others to him-and he played in the Olympics there are others but that is where I would start if making additions

Details on his four years are extraordinary. His understated persona and playing style belie his impressive numbers.

Third for me would be Keith Hochstein, then Mike. V. I believe that consideration should be based only on what the player accomplished only while at HC.

If that is the standard then I have no problem with Keith and Michael but Glenn Williams who would have been my fourth would move on that list. Historically how many players does HC have in the top 5 statistically?

Of course assists are important, but it is hard to say that Glen’s overall game can compare to the games of Feaster, Pernell, etc.

Pretty sure all of the players mentioned are already in the varsity club Hall of Fame. I would prefer to leave the jersey numbers in the Hart rafters left for the most elite players. FWIW, I think even the football Ring of Honor is getting pretty close to saturation point. JMO.

Chris Potter was “most elite”

If he keeps it up, I might someday sneak into the Hart and hang a banner for Joe Pridgen.

Getting close to "too many" IMHO. Not there yet but close. The difference between the two sports is that in football you have had perhaps 9-10 times as many players who have participated over the years. I also recognize that I am among a very small minority with this position - maybe the only one here. If the door is cracked for basketball, I would be for Easy Ed, maybe Potter. Vicens was an Olympian but for the wrong team (Puerto Rico) which is "close" to be equivalent to All-American. Let's not "cheapen it." You go into other gyms and you see names hanging from the rafters that you never heard of. Holy Cross has been blessed with players who are not just in the school Hall of Fame but national Halls of Fame. End of Sunday rant. Continue on . . . . .

Of course assists are important, but it is hard to say that Glen’s overall game can compare to the games of Feaster, Pernell, etc. Agree completely about Glenn ! I am just suggesting if we are adding people we need to set standards that are universally accepted by the community, flexible enough to recognize special achievements and not so broad that everybody qualifies

Wasn’t Kevin Hamilton an honorable all American? Yes - as was Keith. all conference players of the year - at least during that era - where honorable mention all-americans. big pat whearty, the 02-03 patriot league player of the year, was thus also an honorable mention all-american.
