Congrats to Ryan’s big brother, Brandon, who has landed at Michigan after leaving Duquesne in the Spring.

Not sure if it's been mentioned that he is walking on at Michigan.

That must have been a tough decision-to give up the free ride at Duquesne but get to return to his home town and join a team he no doubt grew up idolizing while perhaps paying the $16,000 in state tuition. He really had a tough year at Duquesne with his shooting (3-26 on threes and 5-15 on twos) and here's hoping the change of team will get him back on track.
Here's what Duquesne had to say when announcing that he signed his NLI in Nov 2017
Wade, a three-year starter who averaged 21.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 3.0 steals per game last season, is the lone guard in the group. The Ann Arbor News boys Player of the Year scored in double figures in all but one game as a junior, including four games with 30 or more points.
"When we were putting this class together, we felt like we needed the head to run the body," said Dambrot. "Brandon has a great understanding of the game with a proven ability to run a team. He has tremendous winning qualities. Since his commitment, he has improved in a lot of areas. He has become more explosive athletically and the range on his jump shot continues to improve. He's a guy who has a complete understanding of the game, which is huge at this level."

He actually was paying his own way at a juco this past semester. When he left Duquesne, he didn't know where he was going to end up.

Did he play basketball first semester at the JuCo? No. If 137’s info is correct, I’m guessing he was just trying to get some credits under his belt knowing he would be heading to Ann Arbor for second semester. Makes much more sense than sitting around and having to earn and pay more for those same credits at Michigan. Happy for him that he’s getting the opportunity to play for Michigan. Hopefully it’s a good experience for him in all respects and he gets an opportunity to contribute on the court. And, most importantly, it saves his amazing parents a ton of travel time.

Yesterday was Brandon's 20th birthday--enrolling at Michigan is likely his favorite present
