Too bad this isnβt at home to build on todayβs win, but I do like getting the long Wednesday Pennsylvania trips out of the way during break.

2 tough road games ahead... pards on Wednesday and bison on Saturday... will we be staying in the area after Wednesday for Bucknell on Saturday or will we bus back Wednesday night only to bus back on Friday?

Wished the PL played Friday, Sunday. Would be easier for team travel. Maybe one day they will see the light. ππ‘π

I would be concerned with how they are going to defend these guys. Good chance they are going to come out fired up, given their bad second half yesterday against the Bison.

I'd prefer Friday-Sunday myself.

One of their best players, Lucas Jarrett, did not play today. He may be back for the HC game. Lafayette announcers said Jarrett is expected to be out for a few games, but I doubt that is a certainty. Had his foot in a boot yesterday. One thing that has helped LC is the huge improvement made by 7-0 freshman center Neal Quinn. In HS, he was slow and lightly recruited. Now he seemingly has lost weight and has definitely improved his post skills. Not easy to guard any more. FOH continues to do his offense-defense subs at every whistle, but Quinn is beginning to see a lot of minutes at the offensive end.

I can't see any point in returning to Worcester for what, 24 hours, and then get on a bus for what I believe is a 6-7 hour trip to Lewisburg. I think it has been a long time since our coach has experienced bus trips like he is about to in the PL.

Do the players stay on campus during the winter break?
If not, then most assuredly they are staying in PA until Saturday.

Circa 2003, the team stayed at a hotel downtown because the dorms were completely closed. I don't know if that's still the case

I think it has been a long time since our coach has experienced bus trips like he is about to in the PL. It is exactly 340 miles from HC to the hotel they stay at in Lewisburg - virtually all on interstates. So if they travel mid-day and avoid traffic issues by Hartford, Waterbury, and Scranton-Wilkes Barre, it realistically can be done in close to five hours. I have done it in less than five. Once you pass Danbury, there is almost no traffic at all except between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Pretty much like your own private road. If they do go back to Worcester, I'd expect them to leave by 11:30 AM on Friday.

Still a very long trip for the Wades, esp if they drive. Not many airports near Bucknell

Still a very long trip for the Wades, esp if they drive. Not many airports near Bucknell There is direct plane service from Detroit to both Harrisburg and Wilkes Barre. Both are just over an hour from Bucknell. Three flights a day into each airport. Also nonstop service to Allentown, which is close to Lafayette, Flying to Lafayette, however, might be easier using Newark. A lot more flights and it's only an hour from Easton.

Pretty sure the dorms re-open to students with permission to be on campus - like athletes in season - on or about Jan 1.

Do people stay on 84 and cross over at Newburgh?....I've always though getting over to 78 via the Tappan Zee and 287 worked better.
