I need a ruling on this: was Lowder’s presence at the game a nice, supportive gesture to the team - or a jerk one? I’m sure it was supportive Supportive ...

To come back from 17 down, then see every run thwarted by Lehigh until the end of regulation, then Cohen (85% ft shooter) missed the 1 and 1 to let Ryan tie it, to the clutch hoops, FTs and stops in OT, showed terrific consistently positive thinking, a tribute to the players and staff after so many losses.

Nice coaching moves at the end and clutch rebounding and FT shooting. Fantastic job, Crusaders!

A long way to go, but if the season ended tonight, I think we’d have a playoff game at the Hart/LAC. Am I right?
It appears that we’re moving in the right direction.

Great win! Only saw the last 5 minutes of regulation plus OT so I missed the less fun parts of the game. Onions by Wade on the three. Faw’s progress continues to amaze me.

To pump the brakes a bit - our defense overall wasn't good (Lehigh shot 67% in the 2nd half). But after being crushed on the glass in the first half, we were +5 in the second, and didn't miss any FTs (8-8)

Four HC Players had 4 fouls each...and not one fouled out! THAT is a positive change worth seeing.

But after being crushed on the glass in the first half, we were +5 in the second, and didn't miss any FTs (8-8) Caveats: Lehu’s a bad team, Dr Brett Reed is a lousy coach, we gave up 95 points, I only saw the last 4 minutes of OT BUT in the few possessions I was able to catch, it looks like there is actually some progress in the M2M - guys are actually moving their feet and getting to the right place for help. There was one possession where both Wade and Pridgen did a good job of keep their guy in front of them and not allowing him to get to the rim, and on the second drive Faw was showing in help in the right place. Looooong way to go, but it is a positive sign that, unlike the last 10 years, the team appears to have improved over the course of the extra practice and film time during Winter Break.

I’m speechless. That game was insane. Wade what a three. Pridgen really good from the line. Pridgen played tough against Cohen at the end. He ties his shoe and misses the free throw. How can you toot that game. That was crazy. So happy for the team. They deserved it shot the ball well. Especially from three. All time classic! Bob Prince said we had em the whole way!!! Only Brett Reid could choke that away. Haha GO CROSS GO!!!!!! ✝️✝️✝️✝️

Just back...A great comeback! Good to see shots drop in the second half..We gave up 91 but at the end of regulation and in OT it was the Defense that was impressive...Joe with steal, Austin with a steal, Faw with a steal..Wade did a great job on Cohen (22) when he played him after Joe picked up his 4th..He moved his feet and kept Cohen in front of him, not an easy job to do!..A few other notes, at the end of regulation and in the OT, our m2m played it differently..We switched on screens (guard to guard) in the half court, and FINALLY our bigs stepped out and hedged on the high screen..maybe it will happen more now that it was successful...I haven't understood why HC hasn't done that...Matt Faw has really stepped up his game, he is shooting it from 3 with a lot of confidence, rebounding like a demon, and really hustling all over the court...On the floor for loose balls and stepped out for a tip and a steal....Austin was solid tonight, not flashy, just solid...and as somebody already posted, Coach Nelson is a foul guy up 3 late in the game, and he set up his team to have 3 on the lane and matched up 2 guards with Lehighs guards at the top of the key while Cohen shot his FT's..(made the first and intentionally missed the 2nd, Joe with a big rebound..) Coach has the guys playing hard and they have a great attitude....baby steps in the right direction...I saw Rabinovitch on the way out...He was all smiles...

Nice to see folks finding some positives. So true. This was really a fun basketball game to watch. Isn’t it amazing how much better a team looks when the shots start to go in? Happy for Coach Nelson. There’s no depth and most nights we are not going to hit 14 threes. But it’s a start and, as a fan, HC basketball gave me a reason to smile tonight for the first time in quite a while.

Another successful application of The Full Nelson!
Very nice comeback; would have been crushing to not pull it out after all that effort. For these guys to play all these minutes while pressing quite a bit is a good sign that both physical AND mental toughness are being cultivated. Still need much better defense, still need a point guard, but this was really nice.
Can they go all crazy and make it 2 in a row? Looking forward to see if it can happen on Saturday.

For the first time in forever we made more FT, 18, than they attempted, 16. First time this season. It last happened on Feb 24, 2019 - against Lehigh.
The 14 three-pointers were the most since Nov 27, 2016 (vs. Monmouth)

With 4 minutes left on the game KenPom's computer gave Lehigh a 94% chance of winning and it was 95% with less than a minute to play.
