Massey has BU favored by 21 points (63-84) with a 94% chance for the win. Sadly, no shock there. BU is currently 14-10 (8-3 in the PL - on a 4 game win streak).

You can throw out the record books when the T.T. is on the line.

IIRC, two years ago, parking was a mess for a Saturday afternoon game at B.U.
There was some sort of all day cheerleading competition at Agganis. That garage and adjacent lot were both full before most ball game patrons arrived. I checked the Agannis website for tomorrow. The only thing listed is a hockey game at night, so hopefully no parking issue.

Two years ago, there was also a track meet taking place starting at 10:00 AM that lasted until 5:00 PM. With the cheerleading competition, as well as the men’s basketball game, parking was at premium.
For this Saturday, BU Men have a Lacrosse game starting at 12:PM at Nickerson Field. So plan to arrive early to find parking at the Roof, which is adjacent to Nickerson.

I expect many more people to attend the basketball game than a lacrosse game in February

Last year on a Wed night, HC hoops at B.U. - 966. (Seemed like a lot more - decent and vocal B.U. student turnout (maybe it's paid attendance))
I'm stunned they can get 548 for Lacrosse. It must be more popular at B.U. than I give it credit for. Either way not as crowded as some state tournament for cheerleading or an invitational track meet with who knows how many teams

I can't remember if it was varsity or club teams -IIRC the swim team kids were wearing bathing suits. A lot of silliness from the teams during the game and at breaks.

Dick kept saying he had never heard any fans that loud and he's been calling games for half a century or so. Then when I had time to watch the game on the PLN during the second half, I saw the club sports guys in just their jockey shorts going nuts on the coldest night of the year. Hat's off to BU for that show of school spirit. We used to have our own New England Jesuit Turnpike Trophy. It was called the O'Melia Award, but times change and we move on. I hope whoever is in charge of student school spirit at Holy Cross was taking notes last night. Attending a game in skivvies is very, very optional, however, imo. At halftime, Dick interviewed Coach Kavanaugh of the HC Track and Field program. There are well over 100 student atheletes participating in that one sport. BU has dropped some varsity sports (football, baseball) but obviously has a thriving club sports program. Each approach has validity. HCFC45 said:The loudness was "over the top"! You could not hear yourself think! The music (if that's what you call it) was cranked up! It went on through the entire game and halftime as well. I had to walk out at halftime to take a breather and give my ears a rest! Maybe BU has a good Ear Nose Throat program and they need more future patients! ! I know it was Club Night, but the guys with the speedo bathing suits did not belong there! ! Shame on BU for allowing that to appear in person and on TV!

Also, IIRC, an older woman dressed in a full length fur coat walked up to Tom with her ticket in hand and with that look on her face that said: "you are in my seat"! One of the few times I have seen Tom at a loss for words! !
