Interesting that 3 mid major conferences (2 if you exclude Gonzaga’s) are repped in the top 8 With San Diego State and Dayton the big question is will the committee have the onions to keep those two in the final bracket

If SDSU enters the NCAA Tournament without a loss, like Wichita did several years ago, they’ll be a #1 seed.

If SDSU enters the NCAA Tournament without a loss, like Wichita did several years ago, they’ll be a #1 seed. But if they lose even one, they will drop deeply. Dayton will. fall from the 2 line with a loss.

Dayton will. fall from the 2 line with a loss. Depends who they lose to, I think. I could still see them as a one seed if their loss comes on the road to Boise or Nevada, or in the MWC tournament. Maybe they’d drop to a two with a loss, but there are going to be some #1 seeds with four and five losses, so don’t think a one loss SDSU team would drop below a two seed.

You have far more confidence in the selection committee than I do. they have consistently underrated the mid majors
