I watched one of his games online and I thought his lack of intensity was a whole lot more than a little troubling. Maybe it's not his nature to play hard but he needs to ratchet it up a whole lot. I don't necessarily equate intensity with "playing hard," but it's a concern. There are always several college coaches watching every NMH game, and as an uncommitted 2020 with only a couple offers in hand, his overall play is not likely to increase interest in him.
Enough positives and potential that I'd still like to see him at Holy Cross.

Agree but wondering if a John Adams type is the better option for next year and then recruit a Moses type the following year

Championship Sunday . . . Class AA Finals. Worcester Academy vs. Wilbraham & Monson, 3PM. W & M features 2020 big John Adams (possible HC interest) Class B Finals. Brooks School vs. Canterbury School, 4:50PM. Brooks led by 2021 SG George Smith (HC offer), 2020 big Myles Foster (possible HC interest), and 2020 Colgate commit Sam Thomson (whom HC offered).
Also of interest is the Class AAA title game between Brewster and New Hampton. Brewster is considered the top prep team in the country - they feature seven seniors, who will be going to Kentucky, Miami, BC, Syracuse, Minnesota, Maryland, and UMass next year.
All games live-streamed on NEPSAC TV

I'm a bit torn with this one. My philosophy is no more than one project in every 4 year cycle, and I consider BV to be a project. Based on what I'm reading, I'm a little leery now of Prince. Ideally, I'd like to see us pick up a transfer that can step right in for 2021-22. If not, I want them to find someone; I just don't want Mike R. to have to go into his soph season without a running mate (that already has some experience).

Prince is light years beyond where BV is, or likely will ever be. There have been some legitimate concerns raised about his energy level, he is not a good outside shooter, and his defensive free-lancing will need to be corrected. But he's got great speed and leaping ability, is pretty good down low on offense, is a solid screen-and-roll guy - and passer - in the half-court, has quick hands, times his blocks well, and can shoot FTs.
His ceiling is Jehyve+, imho, and my guess is he can come off the bench for 10+ minutes as a freshman, 20+ as a soph, then be starting alongside MR as a junior.
He'll make at least one more appearance on a big stage - the National Prep Championship, beginning Tuesday. Hopefully, he can show more of his positives, and fewer negatives.

Lord knows, there will be plenty out there soon enough.

Agree he has upside and is worth taking if he is the best available option including transfers??

Perhaps you are right on the transfer, but not sure the one non-committed big we are interested in is going to help much next year. If that is the case, would we be better off bringing in a second PG and/or Bo if we have two openings and build a smaller but more athletic roster for next year?

Imo take the best player who wants us We do not know if we are involved with any other big besides Moses. I like the WooGray’ projection for him

While I hope you and Woo are right about his upside, I always, rightly or wrongly, have concerns about a player who is unable to or opts not to play with energy. His skills can be developed, he is certainly athletic enough, but the potential for him to be Floyd level or above remains a question mark for me. Since I only saw a half, however, I look forward to watching him play again.

WA lost by about 5 I saw the second half. They lost a 10 point lead on a 15-0 run. Their coach should have called a time out long before the run ended. Michael and Judson made turnovers in that stretch, but Michael pursued his thief and as he attempted a dunk, Michael blocked it from behind. A terrific play. Judson led the too late WA comeback with a drive and an off balance three, on which he seemed to be trying to draw contact. He had about 17. Michael was taken out after two 3 point misses and did not return.

Just read WA was down ten with 6 to go. A 27point swing. Sounds like the HC-Harvard game this year.

The T&G says Judson had 15(the announcer said 17) NERR has him with 17, noting that 6 of them came in the final minutes to give his team a chance for the win. Michael scored 8.
