Just watched I first thought that I was watching another Worcester Academy game, perimeter players raining threes, no one even looking to pass. After a while it was clear that Louth showed some skills that were not on the highlights film. 1- he took a few short jumpers and two threes- none converted 2- his FT % was not good—4-8 3- after getting a defensive rebound, 22 of them, he can outlet quickly, even throwing a baseball pass the length of the court for an assist or he can dribble the length of the court and finish at the rim, including at the end through contact for a clinching 3 point play. 4- he can dribble drive from the high post or the left corner, and finish through contact at the rim, even through a 7’’ 240 pound defender, who fouled out covering Louth. 5-almost all his points, 26, were at the rim where he can finish with either hand 6- he blocked some shots, changed more. Now how good was the comp ? Well, neither team looked well coached, taking bad, quick shots and making numerous careless turnovers. But Halifax had 2-3 very strong athletic scorers, mostly threes, (one had 39) but also on quick drives. So it was not NEPSAC high AA, but maybe low AA or high A. Final was about 97-92 If I think of more, I will post.

From his stats page, Louth also does not commit a lot of personal fouls, often a problem area for our big men.
