West Lot GASTH Football Parking
Where is it?
I just buy tix in case I can attend so trying to determine if parking is of value or I buy an extra ticket

In the early 1960s Howard Johnson Restaurants served more meals outside the home in America than any other entity except the US Army.

I do remember one food critic saying that HoJo had made it possible to travel anywhere in America and to be guaranteed the ability to get mediocre food.

Mad Magazine had a funny spoof on "Johnson Howard's", when the restaurants got busy the waitresses would head to the restroom for twenty minutes. Couldn't beat their 28 flavors of ice cream though.

I still remember going to HoJo's with my fiancé and Father Hart. It was great taking him out fir dinner.
[Their ice cream was excellent. My favorite was the peppermint stick ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry.]

As much as the school wants us to call it West Lot, everyone I know still calls it HoJo's. Sometimes you can't force new names on people

Re: the HoJo's lot.
I watched an archived version of the April 15 webimar for volunteers, in which Fr. B. references three construction projects that are temporarily halted by the lockdown. Two are well known, the third is a parking lot (not a parking garage). Now its possible that Fr. B. was confused and thinking that HC was still building the big new lot north of Luth. But I think not.
I'll bet two wooden nickels that HC is paving and lighting the HoJo's lot.
The other two possible sites for a lot would be the land on Avon St., convenient to the Hart, but relatively small, and a lot on Clay St., also relatively small.
I think the idea is to kick more student-owned cars off the top of the Hill.

That's a heck of a hike to Mulledy during one of the more frequent "mixed precipitation" (snow, ice, sleet, rain) storms that used to be straight snow storms before climate change. But college aged hips don't break often in a slip and fall.
