Ohio State Michigan Stanford California UCLA Virginia (joined the club last year!) Holy Cross Thank you. Fewer than I thought. And if we add 'holds an all-time winning football record against SEC conference schools', might be down to one! HC is 4-2 against Georgia and LSU.

It doesn't change the list to include the major bowl portion of the question, but I add it for flair. And I always am clear that by major bowl I mean the 4 traditional New Year's Day Bowls (Orange, Sugar, Cotton & Rose). You can get a lot for free beer in bar bets with the question.
And when they are struggling I'll then give them conferences as a hint

Great link...fascinating to see some of the schools who were Top 10 or 20 ovah the years...BC was Top 10 in '67 or '68, wouldn't have thought that for one example. We made our last appearance in the Jan 9, 1978 poll. BC lost in the Elite 8 to North Carolina in 67 (so a top 10 ranking was pretty accurate) and in the first round to Bob Lanier and St. Bona in 1968.

Terry Driscoll and Billy Evans were a tough big-small combo.

PP Unfortunately, HC does not have a winning football record vs. SEC schools but, at .500 (4-4), it’s still OK. In addition to the games with Georgia and LSU, we played Ole Miss twice in 1940 and 1941 and lost both times. Believe it or not but one of the games was at Fitton Field.

Terry Driscoll and Billy Evans were a tough big-small combo. They had a lot of help. When I think of the intensity of the HC-BC matchups from the 60’s and 70’s and fast forward to the present, I find it sad I can’t name a BC player from the last ten years. I can name a number of them from the Cousy coached teams of the 60’s as well as the Bob Zuffelato teams of the 70’s. I just assumed as a youngin that rivalry would always be there. Just goes to show not to assume much of anything.

Or at least did in my younger days. Sports trivia for beer isn't as much fun as it used to be with everyone just pulling out phones

In addition to the games with Georgia and LSU, we played Ole Miss twice in 1940 and 1941 and lost both times. Believe it or not but one of the games was at Fitton Field. Thanks for the correction. Rather than go to the HC football archives, I went to Google, and I knew HC had an all-time winning record against Georgia, wasn't sure about LSU, and began searching all time records Holy Cross LSU football, Holy Cross Georgia, etc., etc. For Mississippi, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, South Carolina, ....nada, and the search engine became fixated on Holy Cross Boston College. The LSU series was 1939, 1940, and 1941, Holy Cross winning in Baton Rouge; losing twice at Fitton. I suspect there was a fourth game on the schedule for 1942 at Baton Rouge, but December 7 intervened. The page below would make a great poster for HC's football locker room. Get her done Ches'! IIRC, the ONLY other school that has an all-time winning percentage against the Dawgs is USC, the one on Exposition Boulevard. georgiadogs.com/sports/football/opponent-history/holy-cross/324
