league play gets started with Lehigh tmro night at home. Mountain Hawks are the defending league champions from 2015 and are 2-4-1 so far this year. this is the serious time of the season, and a big opportunity for HC.

lost a tough one yday to bucknell at home 2-1. important road games this week at army and navy, if we're going to make a push for the league title. anyone know the status of our goalie, Stutz?, who was injured in the Brown game and did not play yesterday.

army scored an early goal which held up to beat HC 1-0 last night. we managed only 1 shot on goal for the game. have another tough road game at navy this weekend. our no. 1 goalie did not play. obviously still injured and wondering what his status is going forward.

I watched some of the HC-Bucknell game. HC outplayed Bucknell. Midway in the second half, the HC goalie was kicked in the side of the head. The trainers did a quick concussion test, and he stayed in. I did not have the sound on, so I don't know if it was #1 or #2 goalie. Subsequently, Bucknell scored the go-ahead goal.

He had no chance on the go-ahead goal, since it was an accidental deflection that totally changed the path of the shot.

Goalie is a brutal position for injuries as I'm learning with my eldest son. You need to be fearless and a little crazy to be an effective goalie.

we play bu at home tonight in a must-win situation. unlikely we'll sweep final 2 matches vs. the top two teams in the pl, american and loyola, so tonight is big as we try and get one of the six playoff berths. how many brave souls will venture up the hill in this weather to see this one ?

looks like another disappointing fall sports season with only field hockey holding on to playoff hopes. a one-promising soccer team has only one win to show for the league season and is now 1-3-3 with two very tough matches upcoming.
ADNP is working his butt off but clearly the progress has been negligible in most sports, and i don't think anyone can argue with that. sorry, but i'm not counting men's basketball in the significant improvement category yet. talk to me in march.

after yday's 3-0 loss to american, the men's soccer team is winless in their last 9 matches (0-6-3) and in 9th place with 2nd place loyola at home this saturday to complete the disappointing season. the women finished in 9th place as well after 1-0 loss to loyola. a new coach for the women's team is rebuilding, but i don't know how long it will take to bring the men's team back to upper half of the league consistently. our last winning season was 2008 ! the investment in a beautiful new stadium does not seem to have helped. maybe this is the next coaching change for adnp

Any substance to that?

Nice, but based upon that picture, I am sure that the coaches are encouraging him to get into the weight room right away.
