With Worcester in the red zone it isn't looking promising for this year Joshua, but you mentioned you brought the stats to press row in recent years so that might qualify you to attend and do that. For the rest of us, I think Holy Cross will not want the liability of fans in the stands until there is a widespread, effective vaccine.

Would guess Joshua qualifies as an essential worker. If anyone gets in it’ll be him and NAD.😊

NAD is not a worker. He can stay home like the rest of us.

I don't know of anyone who "works" harder than NAD to get the fans fired up.

Maybe NAD should be recorded prior to the season with a You, You, You.....On You and played when the opposition commits a foul to add some atmosphere to the Hart.

Guess this brings out that we have about 3 distinct categories of Crossporters.
1. Those who are able to get to some/many HC events and know many other Crossporters personally. 2. Those who are fans of HC but live too remotely or otherwise can’t/don’t go to events and have to experience the joy/pain of Crusader sports vicariously and don’t get to meet and know others well 3. Those who aren’t especially HC fans but usually have a PL or other tangential affiliation and enjoy the smart discussions we have here or really just like to bait Crusader fans for fun.

We got to get the 1’s all together at a football or basketball game!

That sounds like a good idea. One might even have a speaker to play the "You, you, you..." recording!

The way it looks now, by the time we all get back to Fitton and the Hart, we will need front and back name tags to identify each other!

I doubt there will be fans at any games in the northeast states this upcoming season. Providence College, the top drawing men's basketball team in New England indicated today that it expects to play all its games at its tiny on campus gym instead of the downtown 12,500 seat Dunkin Donuts Center. The PC coach further opined that he doubted there would be any fans or even media at these games. UConn, the second highest drawing team in the region, seems to likely be following the same strategy as it has announced none of its men's/women's basketball or men's hockey games will be played off campus at the XLCenter in Hartford as it normally does each season (typically equates to near 40 events).

PC is doing the cardboard cutout thing as I got an email Monday about it. 40 dollars for season ticket holders and 50 for non. Proceeds are going to some charity down there.

Crowded movie theaters, bleachers filled with spectators shouting and cheering for the favorite team, schools filled with students not wearing masks, and office buildings bustling with workers. These are all images of what the world looked like prior to the December 2019 arrival of COVID-19. While the majority of the world anxiously awaits a return to the life we were all so accustomed to, it might be a while before things resemble that sort of normal, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci. During the Johns Hopkins University Health Policy Forum on Friday, the nation's leading infectious disease expert discussed with Bloomberg School of Public Health Dean Ellen MacKenzie when we can let down our guard and return to the lives we once considered the norm — and unfortunately, we have months and even years to wait. Read on, and don't miss these Sure Signs You've Already Had Coronavirus.
When Does Dr. Fauci Think We Will be Back to Normal?
"You know, I think that we will ultimately get back close to what was formally normal without even considering any of the things that we consider right now," he said. "I think how quickly we get there and how completely we get there is going to be dependent on a number of factors that we can't nail down the nose."
He then went on to explain the various factors that need to line up, starting with the "efficacy of a vaccine." It will depend on if it is "60%, 70%, 90% effective."

Anthony S. Fauci talking on a cell phone: on January 29, 2016 in Washington, DC. Then, once there is an effective vaccine, it will depend on how many people get it, as well as if people will still partake in the other public health measures. "As important is what is the uptake of the vaccine? Will people willingly get vaccinated? Will they accept the fact that even after we get a vaccine, we likely would have to implement, to some extent, continued public health practices?"

We May Not Be Back to Normal Until Beyond 2021
Ultimately, he doesn't predict that things have any semblance of normal until the end of 2021 or well into 2022.
"We may not for months and months and months into 2021 —or even beyond — we may not be able to in every section of the country have uninhibited theaters that are just completely packed sports events, where the spectators are crowded all over each other," he continued. "We may not get there for a while, depending upon the factors that I mentioned, vaccine uptake and our ability to implement some form of public health measures." So make sure you use precautions, and also don't visit any of these 35 Places You're Most Likely to Catch COVID.
