VC page www.verbalcommits.com/players/austin-lewis-txhudl www.hudl.com/profile/8631396/Austin-LewisI know nothing about the comp, but I really like how hard he plays, esp on the defensive end. the play where he started at the top of the 3/4 1-3-1 and sprinted back to block the shot at the rim was impressive. Ability to run the court and finish with dunks also effective. Some mid range jumpers. Obviously needs weight, but having this extra year will be invaluable. We hopefully will not need him to play big minutes right away with Mike R, Louth and Gerrale.

If I’m reading it correctly, he’s going to the Bosco Institute where our Malcolm Townsell also prepped

I like what I see..Athletic, moves well, nice to see him out front on the zone pressure...Nice looking mid range jump shot.. He handles the ball well for a 6'10" player, that can cause all kinds of match up problems for other teams....A year to grow and fill out, and then a year to learn the college game.....Looks like a good get!

2021-22 Scholarship Players:
Sr Townsel Jr Gates, Reilly, Wade So Coulibaly, Martindale, Rabinovich, Humphrey, Johnson, Montgomery Fr Luc, Lewis
Looks like we have room for one more unless I’m forgetting someone. Gates is listed as a junior on this year’s roster but I think he’ll wind up with the current sophs (Reilly and Wade) as he has two years left after sitting this year.

True, room for one, but we may wait for that scholarship to balance the classes somewhat with Townsel the only senior. We may wait until the spring to see how this group plays and if there are any tran...(hurts to finish)

With the NCAA ruling on no eligibility being used this winter, Coulibaly unable to come to the US, how does the PL and HC react to the eligibility ruling, I wouldn't even begin to speculate on what next year's roster looks like in terms of classes as of now.

I think the odds are Coulabaly is a freshman in terms of eligibility a year from now as well.

There is a chance based on the NCAA eligibility ruling, that HC will have 8 freshmen on scholarship come next fall. Actually, it isn't just a chance, it is a fact based on how things stand today. How it plays out with regards to the PL and HC has yet to be determined.

I have no idea what HC or the PL will do.
