I hope all are well. Better that the pressures on the adjoining plates be released in such a fashion than continuing to build until there is a bigger "bang for the buck." There have been some huge earthquakes in the Northeast and, from what I am told, we are actually "overdue" for another some time in our near future.

We felt it here on the North Fork of Eastern Long Island Also thought it was a large truck, but no sight of one.

Very bizarre....was getting ready to play tennis and the whole house shook. I too thought a truck/car had crashed into the house or something. Didn't know it was an earthquake until someone called me a few minutes later. No damage thank God....what else ya' got 2020???

Surprised I didn't feel it in Metro West given its 55-60 miles from NB/Dartmouth/Buzzards Bay.
