In looking at the "full schedule" on the HC athletics website calendar, only hockey is listed. The schedule runs through the second week of January but it does not show any basketball. Has anything changed about the upcoming games?

Nothing has changed. But I just looked at the calendar on the Holy Cross site and I am seeing all of the men’s and women’s basketball games.. it shows them all through the end of February.

I went again to the icons for the week and clicked on "full schedule." It shows only hockey games and the month of January (through January 9) is blank.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the responses. I am glad to see that all is well on the basketball site. I do wonder why no hoop games are listed on the "full schedule" you reach from the calendar when you hit "full schedule." Perhaps they list the dates of coming month but do not list games until that month.

We're in a tough pod so I think it's hard to expect too many wins, but a few more wins and greatly improved competitiveness would go a long way for me in enjoying the team. Nelson was smart to recruit for athleticism and physicality.

At this point I would agree. I like the better competition in our pod to start off. It could be a real test and a positive learning experience.

Probably for the same reason that when the Athletic Department sets up a Zoom webinar for the basketball coaches, the invitation to basketball season ticket holders missed many of them so that there were less than 30 people on and that included both coaches, the AD and a representative player from both teams.
In fairness, I know with COVID that there have been staffing shortages but these administrative snafus have pre-dated the pandemic.

Nelson was smart to recruit for athleticism and physicality. Below are the PL teams as ranked by CBS Sports with the number of games we have against each club. Definitely a tough schedule but all the new guys playing as many games as possible against better teams should serve them well in the future. 102 Colgate (4 games) 175 BU (6 games) 215 Lafayette 221 Navy 224 Bucknell 235 American 259 Army (4 games) 270 Loyola 289 Lehigh (2 games) 334 Holy Cross

Interesting that the historical “cream of the crop” in the PL - Bucknell, Holy Cross, Lehigh are not anywhere near the top of those rankings.
Perfect example of “the worm turns.” 🤬

Pre season rankings often mean very little, especially from a source other than the coaches-SIDs

I expect they’ll be near the top no matter what preseason prediction ones uses. I think there’s no question that those two teams will be the two top ones in the official PL preseason rankings.
