H'mm - This could wreck PL football... or maybe not... if FCS means the regular fall season; playoffs in the spring?

This would be interesting but would players sit out because of the NFL draft? Also it requires athletes to complete a full year of school.
Might give the FCS more attention if they played in the opposite season.

How could this guy write this article and not mention that TV ratings for the semis and finals were three times worse in the spring, compared to fall 2019?

Crazy talk. I would also point out that they did it this year because they had to do so, but I have a hard time belieiving that the NCAA wants anything to compete with conference basketball tournaments and March Madness--four weekends in the middle of this spring football season.

Football is a Fall sport and should stay in that season unless there are extraordinary circumstances such as there were this past season. Let's not overthink the obvious

I think the Pioneer League, NEC, Patriot League and Ivy League would w/o hesitation, drop out of the playoffs and play in the fall.
The northern schools in the other leagues that don't play inside would be at a big disadvantage. This March was decent weather-wise up north; but that's a 50-50 proposition.
