Haughney averaged 43.1 yards per punt in the shortened Spring season. If he comes close to maintaining that average he'll arrive at the top of our all-time list as soon as he has enough punts.
Here's what is listed on goholycross.com--I don't think it has been updated in a year or two as Cody Wilkinson, whose career finished with the 2019 season, averaged 40.8 yards per punt for his career
Career (minimum 60 punts): 1. 40.9 Will McGrail (2014-2017) 2. 40.8 John Macomber (2010-2013) 3. 40.7 Connor Fitzgerald (2012-2015) 4. 39.8 Frank Traupman (1997-2000) 5. 39.5 Stan Kozlowski (1943-1945) 6. 38.9 Mark Becker (1969-1971) 7. 38.9 Don Lemieux (2007-2010) 8. 38.2 Joe Repshis (1995-1998) 9. 37.9 Jeff Meader (1990-1993) 10. 37.7 Mike Holloway (2005-2008

That soph stat was on only 17 punts. 43 to go. He did not play as a freshman

Hopefully, he won’t have many punt attempts this year.

Boy does Stan Kozlowski stand out on the all-time list, holding the record for 50+ years
