The enjoyment of our first “proposition bet” challenge was diminished by the unexpected loss to Merrimack. A wise poster suggested that we try again for our first Patriot League game, but after the big wins over Yale and Monmouth, and in keen anticipation of our upcoming game against rival Harvard, I decided to challenge you all for this Saturday’s game.
This time the new feature is the “big $$$ opportunity”, not for you, but for the Holy Cross football program. For every poster who plays, I will make a $10 contribution to the HC football program and I’ll add $10 for every poster who beats my score. If, say, 40 people choose to play and 10 beat me, that would generate a $500 donation. Hopefully that will entice more players and greater attention to the game. It takes just minutes despite the many propositions, and if this doesn’t interest you can just ignore the thread.
Here are the propositions and, as I did last time, I’ll put a cut-and-paste template at the bottom so you won’t have to do so much typing. Good luck to all—I hope I have to write a big check
